Swami in de Soma Sai Skanda Ashram

Dit jaar, ter gelegenheid van de 90^e geboortedag van Sathya Sai Baba (Indiase leeftijd telling), zullen we de Soma Sai Skanda ashram inwijden en daar Zijn verjaardag vieren. De ashram ligt in Nidaghatta, Maddur. Dat is halverwege tussen Bangalore en Mysore. Nidughatta of nadughatta betekent het midden of middelpunt. ‘Nadu’ betekent letterlijk ‘centrum’.
Vroeger werd deze plek gebruikt als rustpunt voor de koning, wanneer hij tussen Bangalore en Mysore reisde. Deze plaats is bepaald door Sathya Sai Baba, ik speelde daar geen rol in. Sathya Sai leidde mij naar deze nieuwe plek voor een specifiek doel. In de toekomst zal deze plek een pelgrimsoord worden.

This year, on the auspicious occasion of Baba’s 90^th birthday, we will inaugurate the Soma Sai Skanda ashram and celebrate His birthday there. The ashram is situated in Nidaghatta, Maddur. It is the centre point between Bangalore and Mysore. Nidughatta or nadughatta means, centre place/point. ‘Nadu’ is ‘centre’.
In the earlier days, this place used to be the resting point for the King, whenever he travelled between Bangalore and Mysore.  This place is selected by Sathya Sai Baba Himself, I played no role in that. Sathya Sai brought me here and is now, sending me to this new place for a purpose. In future, This place will become an  pilgrimage centre.
